From Mike's Mom:
 About 9:35 we packed our scrub bags and headed out to the taxi stand. I'd only been to this sauna once before and I didn't know how to get there. Riding down in the elevator, Mike gave me a hug. I told him I loved him, and hearing this for the 1000th time in a day, Mike just rolled his eyes and hugged me more. Corina & Maggie chatted, all of us looking forward to a scrubdown & soak.
In the taxi, I sat upfront...the driver had in-car TV and the news was on. (yes it's quite common for folks to watch TV while driving) Announcers were droning on about the US Beef drama~ showing on screen were boxes of beef being unloaded at the dock. On screen the dock workers opened a box to reveal ribs (bone in meat, one of the import no-nos). The driver grunted and I wondered about journalistic principals, because in fact, the import of US beef had not yet resumed. Wonder what the purpose of opening the box of ribs could have been to the mission of the news program... all quickly forgotten once we arrived at R-찜질방.
At the counter, there was some debate about going to the pajama room or not. We decided not too, but the clerk had already rung us up for it there was an extra couple of minutes to sort this out. How the guy at the desk could't have noticed 3 women and 1 male... especially since the rates are different... he certainly couldn't claim he cant tell female from male foreigners!!
Mike walked up the stairs with us to the 2nd floor, realizing he would have to take the elevator, he paused for a final eye glint at mom (for having pointed out he was headed into the girls section~ agast!) he took the 2chon I gave him and assured me he had his cellphone on. Glancing over his shoulder at me, he stepped into the elevator for the 4th floor.
From this point until 11:02/11:05 {when a sauna employee admitted to seeing Mike face down in a pool of 15 inches of water yet DIDNT HELP} we dont know what happened.
Finding out what happened during the time from about 9:50 pm to 11:05 pm is critical to solving the mystery of how Mike's hair became saturated with Chlorine and how exactly his liver came to be filled with sacs of toxins.
